Touch-A-Truck Event

What is Touch-A-Truck?: Touch-A-Truck is a fun way to get up close with some of your favorite big vehicles!  We will feature police vehicles, a firetruck, ambulance, construction vehicles, mobile library truck, bucket truck, farming vehicles, and more. You can climb on the trucks, sit in the driver’s seat, honk the horn, and learn all about the vehicles from their operator. This is a unique experience for kids and adults of all ages! Also make sure to visit our children’s area with games, crafts and prizes for the kids.

Food: We will have the St. James’ Church Pit Beef crew selling pit beef, hot dogs, hand cut fries and more. We will also have a bake sale table with all kinds of yummy goodies!

Parking: There is limited parking available in the preschool parking lot; the church lot will be used for the event. If the school lot is filled please park along York Rd. and walk over to the event.

Admission: This event is free and open to the public. Certain activities cost money like the food, bake sale, and certain children’s activities. This is a cash-only event. All proceeds from the bake sale and select children’s activities go towards the St. James’ Preschool fundraising effort.

What if it rains? If the weather calls for light or scattered rain, we will still have the event as scheduled. In the event of forecasted thunderstorms or heavy rain, we will unfortunately not be able to hold the event and will hold it the following year. A final decision will be made the day before the event if the forecast is calling for bad weather.

We hope to see you all there for a great time! Check out some photos below of the fun from last year.
